What Happens if I Miss the Removal Period
If you win an item at auction, it is your responsibility to pick up your purchases during the scheduled removal dates and times listed in the auction. Removal windows are posted on each lot page and in the auction details.
If You Miss the Scheduled Removal Time
Items that are not removed during the scheduled removal period may result in one or more of the following:
• Forfeiture of the item(s) without refund
• Potential storage fees
• Possible suspension or ban from future auctions
• Disposal of the item(s)
Because many auctions take place at business locations, government facilities, or third-party sites, items must be removed within the designated timeframe.
If You Cannot Attend the Removal Period
If you are unable to attend during the scheduled removal period, you may send:
• an employee
• a friend or representative
• a shipping or freight company
They should bring a copy of the paid invoice so staff can verify the release of the items.
Plan Ahead Before Bidding
Before placing bids, be sure to review:
• the removal dates and times
• the item location
• any equipment or labor required for removal
Buyers are responsible for planning transportation and pickup within the scheduled removal window.
Helpful Tips
• Review removal dates before bidding.
• Arrange transportation in advance for large items.
• Send a representative if you cannot attend removal.
• Bring the tools and assistance needed to remove your items.
