Aurora Impound Auction – Rules, Risks, and Requirements | Roller Auction Help Center

Vehicles sold in the Aurora Impound Auction are different from standard auction vehicles. It is important to understand the conditions, requirements, risks, and responsibilities before placing a bid.

Vehicle Condition and Mileage

The City of Aurora does not verify the condition or mileage of impounded vehicles.

• The working condition is unknown
• Mileage is not verified
• Vehicles are not tested or started after being impounded
• Keys may or may not be included and are not guaranteed to work
• Vehicles may have missing parts or damage

All vehicles are sold as-is, where-is, with no guarantees and no refunds for any reason.

Why Vehicles Are Impounded

Vehicles may be impounded for a variety of legal or safety-related reasons. These reasons do not indicate the mechanical condition of the vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Theft – Recovery
Vehicle was stolen and recovered. May have damage, missing parts, or ignition issues. Keys are often not included.

No Driver’s License

Important Reminder

Impound reason does not guarantee condition, drivability, or completeness.

Buyers should assume:

• unknown mechanical condition
• possible missing components
• no inspection or testing performed

Payment and Buyer Responsibility

Placing a bid is a binding commitment.

• All winning bids must be paid in full
• A buyer’s premium will be added to the final price
• Failure to complete payment may result in account restrictions

$50 Deposit

A $50 deposit may appear on your account.

• This is only charged if you fail to pay for a vehicle you win
• It may appear as a pending charge and can take several days to release depending on your bank
