How to Submit a Tax License to Remove Sales Tax

Step 1: Send Your Tax License

Email a copy of your sales tax license or resale certificate to:

This helps our accounting team match the license to the correct bidder account.

Step 2: License Review

In Colorado, the burden of proof is on the seller to ensure that a transaction qualifies for resale tax exemption.

Because of this, Roller Auction must review each request and determine whether a purchase qualifies for tax removal based on the buyer’s normal business operations.

If your business sells used vehicles, but you purchase a wheel loader, we may not be able to remove sales tax unless you can provide documentation showing that your business normally sells heavy equipment as part of its regular operations.
